Current Team Members

Richard J.K. (Proprietor & Co-Head Investigator)
Richard founded Echoes & Footfalls, comes from a legal background (working as an attorney, as well as managing a law firm), and staunchly believes in evidence-based approaches and never assuming anything. This results in Richard simultaneously approaching paranormal investigations from a scientific and evidence-based approach, with his default perspective being that: we never know anything that we do not know and, therefore--anything is possible pertaining to things that we do not know. Beyond this, Richard desires to believe in the extraordinary, in mysteries, and in the paranormal--though he strives for evidence and proof whilst applying logic and reason, as well as belief in all possibilities.

James F. (Co-Head Investigator)
James has been with E&F from the beginning, is Richard's closest of friends (and adopted brother), and is a full member (despite looking like a full-blooded Irishman) of the Oglala Lakota Sioux Tribe (Native American tribe of the Great Plains region). James brings one of the very most astute and keen minds on Earth, to the E&F team. James attended Yale University, specializing in artificial intelligence, in a program of study originally created, curated, and planned by James--himself entirely (i.e., a program of study that never existed at Yale University prior to James' creation of the same). Later in his career, James worked as a Chief Information Officer (CIO) in hospitals and healthcare systems and, later still, he ran and managed high-end asset protection and U.S. tax preparation services for, and within, a U.S. Fortune 500 company. James is astutely and unequivocally tethered to science, evidence, and proof; though, his cultural and spiritual background and upbringing ground him in believing in things beyond human perception, explanation, and understanding.

Angie (Investigator)
Angie began experiencing the paranormal as a very young child. Those experiences placed her on a path of desiring to understand and ignited an insatiable desire to study demonology, cryptozoology, Ufology, and all things unexplained. Angie comes to E&F with 7 years of paranormal investigation experience. She brings an open but also an analytical mind. Angie is fascinated with all the new and emerging tools in this field of study; however, as a Heyoka and intuitive empath, she feels that nothing compares to genuine evidence and personally observed experiences.

Chris H. (Investigator)
Chris has been fascinated by the paranormal for as long as she can remember, while also believing that not every creak, shadow, or unexplained sound has a supernatural cause. She brings an open mind, a healthy dose of skepticism, and a strong focus on evidence to every investigation. Chris has moved around for more than 20 years in support of her husband's military career. During this, she has explored many historic locations, forgotten places, and reported paranormal activity across multiple states. For her, every location has a story, and those stories are often just as compelling as the unexplained experiences connected to them. Outside the paranormal, Chris works in human resources, business operations, and accounting, with professional experience in real estate, construction, and transportation. Her background has made her a practical problem-solver comfortable in asking hard questions and searching for answers. Regardless of the type of investigation, Chris and her Jeep, Elvira, approach every case with curiosity, excitement, and a sincere desire to uncover the truth.
